Comments My college daughter and I spent a week aboard the Ocean Hunter. We flew one stop from Minneapolis to Palau with a 2 hour layover in Tokyo. It doesn't get any easier than that. The only negative is that flights are only a couple of times a week. We stay a couple of nights at the Landmark Marina hotel which is only a 5 minute walk to the OH 3 departure point at FishNFinss shop.

The service on the boat was outstanding through the week. Meals were well prepared and were nicely varied from one day to the next. Everyone genuinely wanted to help us and make our stay enjoyable which they did. I have a big UW camera which can be tough to push through strong currents and they went out of their way to make it pleasant for me and my daughter (who is small and needed some help on occasion).

The big name dives all delivered. We saw incredible schools of fish and Blue Corner and the adjacent dive sites. The clarity was great and the gray sharks patrolled a few meters in front of us. We saw multiple mantas at German Channel, including one that decided to envelope me in totality. Spectacular.

We had a great dive at the Yellow Wall in Peliliu where each March, thousands of sea bream snappers aggregate into the largest cloud of fish I have every seen under waiter (w/ nearly 500 dives to compare). If you are here at this time of year, make sure you check it out. We also saw lots of good sized turtles, often several on a dive.

The weather was also great except for one day. We had bright sun and flat seas, even in exposed areas.

The only negative were the crowds of boats and people at some of the major sites. Even getting there @ 7AM didn't beat them to the spot. But other than that, nothing bad to say. My special thanks to Mike at ReefRainforest who put this altogether for me and the team on the Ocean Hunter 3.
