Comments Nasu Lembongan is an often overlooked dive site about 45 minutes by fast boat ferry from Bali (Sunar). World Diving Lembongan is very convenient, very well run with a fantastic set up right there on the beach wall. I strongly recommend you at least talk to this place before booking another. They back up there great location with an uncanny ability to put divers where the action is.

There are two seasonal attractions to Lembongan. Manta Rays and Moon Fish. I have seen both. The other attraction to me are the fantastic drift dives in the strong currents passing through these islands. Easily covered at least 2 kilometers flying along a beautiful coral formations from a area called Mangroves. This area is not really one that so called "macro" divers are going to find interesting.

John and Sue (husband/wife) have been running World Diving Lembongan from the beginning. Their main dive boat is the envy of every dive operator on the island. Custom built with divers in mind, not an after thought. A clean marine head (only dive boat on the island with a head), a nice roof deck with easy access stairs and about 15 outdoor bean bags to get warm and dry out after your dives. Very good local lunch is provided. Experienced divers were separated from beginner divers.

World Diving's location alone would win it for me, but this is a professionally run shop and likely the standard the others have to met. There are nice cottages available with a pool. The dive shop is directly attached to several ocean view rooms. These are 2-3 star basic A/C rooms, cheap. Absolutely amazing sun sets. Again, setting right on the sea wall at the dive shop. A two or three day stay here is about right.

I also dove with Big Fish Diving. Did not like the distance we walked to the dive boat. Didn't really care to be around the Yoga Center that operates in there compound either. The dive boat like most of the ones on Lembongan, one level and tight. I see Two Fish Divers mentioned here as well. It is also a good walk from the beach. I didn't dive with them because wanted to be ocean front. You should know that Two Fish had a dive boat sink with divers in the waters,~~late 2014 or early 2015. No injuries. Seas were very rough, had some bilge pump issues and the boat went down, Manta Bay or Manta Point. I spoke first hand with divers who helped Two Fish recover equipment from their sunken vessel. Bad luck? Bad Judgement? A little of both, they were the only boat at that site because of the rough seas.
