There was a shortage of charging outlets, but we soon sorted that out once we realized that our chargers worked on 220V which was supplied in our room. |

The weather is purported to be rainey, etc. in March. However, we found March to be an ideal time to go. The rainey season was ending and the hills were a spectacular green! The little rain we encountered did nothing to spoil our dives. Wakatobi has been rumored to be run by "enviro-nazis" so I was pleasantly surprised by the more pragamatic attitude of the Pelagian staff. (Don't misunderstand . . . trashing the environment was not allowed, but they weren't overbearing about it). Cabins 4 and 6 are VERY SMALL. Cabins 3 and 5 have room for 3 comfortably. Cabin 2 is VERY Spacious, as is cabin 1. The electric generator is up front, so cabin 2 is quietest. It's hard to find any fault with this well run operation. Fresh cookies or bread and hot towels awaited us after every dive. Bring ear drops. I missed two days of diving from an external ear infection. The great staff may be willing to launder your clothes. |
