Comments Perfect coral. Tons of colorful reef fish in classic indopacific diving. Some unusual dive sites such as the Passage with very abundant soft coral. Extremely varied, abundant, and healthy coral and fish. Good shark and pelagic encounters. Lots of good has been said about this destination, it's all true. One comment which may be worthwhile is that I have gone to this destination several times with different operators including two liveaboard trips. Max and the staff and divemasters at Papua diving stand out in terms of service and their intent to help visitors maximize their vacation experience. Other dive operators had their agenda. Max and his staff put the customer first and the customer agenda is their agenda. I asked to see a Wobegong shark and in the first day of diving they found five different Wobegongs, and the dive guides seemed eager and pleased to do so. The food was great and the lodging at Sorido Bay Resort was very fine indeed. I loved the ability to call my wife daily with their wifi. A great, great dive vacation experience. The experience of the guides with the area really helped arrange for optimal conditions and visiting the very best sites at the best times to do so.

UW Photo Comments You won't find better subject matter anywhere. Mainly wide angle, but of course lots of nudi's and pygmy seahorses for macro. Every room has a dedicated rinse tank for large cameras and camera bench with charging options for both US and european style outlets.

The form will not let me comment on "service and attitude" as above, but this should of course be set at five stars as per my other comments noted. I have never encountered a more responsive and competent staff in my diving experience.
