Comments
Don't bother to bring a camera unless you are set up for macro. Most
everything you will see is between 1" and 6" long. There is so
much crud in the water you have to shoot from very close to the subject
anyway.

The Kasawari-Lembeh resort is as nice as the other rave reviews describe.
I second their praise except in for area of food. The menu was ambitious
but the food didn't live up to expectations. It was a solid
"ok". Staff was extremely nice and attentive. The dive
operation was as great as described in other reports but when they say
"muck diving" they aren't talking about what I expected from my
other experiences. Where I have done muck diving in the past the muck
referred to the sea bottom of sand, coral rubble, sea grasses, maybe some
old tires, cement blocks, etc. Here the muck is also suspended in the
water! The black sand beaches are ringed with trash and there is garbage
and trash in the water as well as a lot of other stuff I didn't want to
even think about.
