Comments This resort is very well run and one of the reasons is that its management has over nine (9) years of tenure. Management is hands on and very detail oriented. The staff is friendly and excellent and I believe every review on this board concurs.

The rooms are very nice with plenty of space and good lighting. Every room is well insulated and you never hear outside noises. The air conditioning works well and there is satellite television. The only negative in this regard is that there is only three channels - CNN, HBO, and usually an Indonesian travel. Most travellers can cope.

The breakfast is a buffet that begins at 7 AM and continues through 11 AM although I have always been able to go earlier and have some fruit and cheese. Lunch begins at 1 PM and continues to 3 PM and is ala carte with multiple selections. If the resort is full they might have a buffet for lunch but I have never seen this happen. Dinner is from 7 PM to 9 PM with varied ala carte selections.

The resort has a nice pool that is very popular. The view is great. One feature of this resort unique in Northern Sulawesi is that it has a white sand beach. There are private shaded areas for each room. Unlike many "resorts" in N. Sulawesi this resort caters well to non-divers and children. For example, dinner for children is served at 6 PM.

The diving in the area is exceptional. The diving sites accessible from Gangga include not only the areas of Lembeh and Bunaken but many walls, slopes, and pinnacles. The soft corals in the Gangga area are the best in all of Northern Sulawesi. Creature lovers will be delighted with Frogfish, nudibranchs, pipefish, and many others.

The dive boats are fast and provide excellent shade. The dive guides are very good. Attention to diver safety is a number one priority. Diving profiles are flexible based on diver experience.

This year the resort installed Nitrox which is provided at a very reasonable price.

Late last year WiFi was installed and is available for free! The WiFi works in the area of the front desk, lounge, and restaurant. There is also a free guest Internet workstation in its own air-conditioned room.
