Comments	I've been to Lembeh six times, stayed at four different resorts, and on a liveaboard. Dive Into Lembeh was really the best of all for a number of reasons. Everything on their website is accurate and made even better by the veteran owner/operators, Steve and Miranda. They calmly and efficiently take care of every detail required to run a dive resort, doing everything possible to customize your experience. Some of the things I liked are, that the resort is on the main island, so no boat trip after the 1 1/2 hour drive from the airport. Another perk is that it's located right on Aw Shucks and Hairball, two of the premier dive sites in Lembeh. You can do easy shore dives right in front. It's a new, small, boutique resort, with almost no steps like a lot of resorts in Lembeh. The property is graded so there are easily accessible gradually sloping pathways. Rooms are spacious with a large well-organized storage areas, a big bathroom, and large covered deck with soaking tub. The covered dive area is great, lots of hanging and gear storage areas, dedicated rinse tanks; and there is a big camera room. The diving and guides are all up to the high standards experienced macro-critter divers expect. The well appointed covered speedboats come right to the edge of the shore to make for easy access. You have a choice of giant stride off the back or back roll off the side. There is a maximum of 6 divers per boat and the boats come back to the resort between every dive. They are so fast that the longest ride might be 10 minutes, usually closer to 5 minutes. There is also a larger boat used for day trips to more distant areas.. Another really good policy is that their dive package options are totally flexible--you can take 2 or 3 dives a day packages which also give you free shore diving, or you can take the a la carte option and just pay for dives you do at the resort--or a combination of these programs. Most other resorts in the area require a full dive package whether you use the dives or not. On long stays, often you want to sit out a few dives or get a cold or ear issue and are forced to take days off, losing the money for all those pre-paid dives. Food is varied and well prepared. They cater to any dietary restriction you might have. The fresh baked bread and other goodies were a treat. I'm going back in 2019 for another 2 1/2 weeks. My dive buddies are returning for three weeks. It was a no-brainer when we made our plans for next year.

UW Photo Comments	This is a macro dive location, so whatever you usually use for that is appropriate . Although, the day before I arrived a whale shark was spotted by divers at our resort.

Yes there are reef and wall dives--some famous ones like Nudi Falls. You can also arrange longer day trips to other locations with real wall dives.

Thanks for your response. My bride and dive partner of 36 years isn't into u/w photography but would enjoy hunting the critters on the muck dives for awhile then she would want to find a reef or wall preferably with little of mild currents. Is that do-able at Lembeh.

Yes. The dive guides find places with no currents. The ratio is 3 divers per 1 dive guide (since there are two of you, probably you would have one guide to yourselves). They keep a close eye on their divers and accommodate requests for different types of dive sites whenever possible. They are very flexible . Really you could address any specific questions to Steve or Miranda info@diveintolembeh.com . They are the owners/operators and worked assist4d me in the information gathering phase with very detailed responses to various questions.

I was just in touch with Miranda today about my booking in April. You can book directly or they are fine with working with agents. I use Tina at Island Dreams in Houston Tina@divetrip.com The nice thing about Island Dreams is that you can use a credit card with no fees and Tina can also book your flights if you like. I like to have her book the domestic flights even though it may cost a little more, if there are snafus they will fix it. By the way Rooms 1 and 2 are the best located--closest to everything.
