Comments Not our first trip on board Dewi Nusantara (previously also known as Paradise Dancer) and again it didn't take us long to remember why we return. Excellent service from friendly crew in very comfortable surroundings. Cabins are spacious and well appointed - master cabin is ridiculouly spacious. Plenty of deck space, sun loungers and good space for kitting up for a dive. Unless weather prevents it, all meals are served outside on the main deck with it's great views & automatic air conditioning. Cannot complement the helpfulness and friendly service from all crew enough.

Diving was mixed in subject with some great muck/macro sites in the Alor region along with some great coral sites in that area before moving on to the Komodo region and many of the bettter known sites in that area often for current blown pelagic diving. Note - we saw little sign of the reported dynamite fishing damage that has been reported - some but no widespead destruction.

Weather was unkind at times (very windy and therefore choppy at on occassion) preventing us from diving some of the more southerly dive sites yet we still found plenty of excellent locations. That said dry and warm the whole trip.

Overall I continue to recommend Dewi Nusantara as an exceptional dive yacht (the best in the region? - probably...) and cannot recommend her highly enough both for facilities and staff - next trip onboard to Cendrawasih in February - can't wait!

UW Photo Comments Well set up camera room with plenty of charging points. Dedicated main deck rinse tank and careful crew handling of all equipment. Solid tenders make for better handling of gear than RIBs.

Unusual itinerary (Alor & Komodo) gave a wide range of subject matter from macro to mating white tips.
