If you haven’t gone to Raja Ampat yet, put it on your list. It’s all about little critters, things you just couldn’t imagine. If you decide to go, put Archipelago II on top of your list of liveaboards to use. They were in contact with us well before the trip making sure we had everything in order. They met us at every leg of the trip to make sure that our bags made it through to the next leg and finally to the boat. They also did the same on the way home. Once there, we never lifted anything. The crew was just perfect and they really wanted you to have a great time. The food…wow. The staterooms were surprisingly big. At 6’3”, that’s a big concern with me. We typically did between 4 and five dives a day: muck, mangroves, drift, etc. This area is subject to currents, so be prepared. Photographers, bring lots of memory cards. i came home with over 1500 pictures. I am glad to provide more details upon request, so email away. I am going back! |
