The corals are in absolutley perfect shape. Reminds me of Cayman 20 years ago. The dive boats are very comfortable. Hugh sponges, and there was a terrific jellyfish bloom when I was there. Millions of many type of jellyfish thruout the water column. I give the dive operation an A+++ for their efforts. The room is functional, comfortable and basic, with good A/C. A small fridge, no TV or phone. It's all about diving, which is available right off the front door 24/7, and its very good. The food also gets A++++. I mentioned I liked plantains to Liz, the very able and nice manager, and sure enough we had them for lunch. Custom omelettes for breakfast, great soups at lunch, and every dinner was a hit. Steak and lobster for our last meal! The only downside of diving is the relative lack of fish life, but tons of macro and other small subjects. I WILL GO BACK!!!! and to me, that is the best endorsement I can give. One final word, believe everything you read about no see ums. They are miserable. DEET early and often. |
