Comments Overall value was good. Resort personnel were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean, A/C worked well. Meals were served buffet style, with some local dishes and good variety. Not gourmet, but filling and tasty. Friday night was MUSIC night; played loudly until 11:00 PM. Our room was sufficiently distant, but those close to the restaurant did not get to sleep very early. Setting is beautiful. All rooms have patio overlooking the bay.

Diving was from one of 5 boats, with from 6 to 12 divers. Boats were not purpose built, but modified as much as practical for diving. Boat departures were frequently delayed because they only had one Nitrox analyzer for all boats. They could have staggered boat departures to help avoid this problem. Back-roll entry from our smaller 8 person boat. Gear handed up at end of dive. Difficult ladder for a person with replacement knees. Captain and divemaster were friendly and competent. Divemaster was hunting lionfish, killing about 12 during our 7 days of diving. Although we appreciate the efforts to harvest lionfish, this activity was distracting.

Dive shop offered a course ($50) in lionfish "hunting." Once the course is completed, participants keep the spear used in the course, and can go lionfish hunting on a regularly scheduled AM or PM dive.
