Boats had good storage areas for cameras; on the dock; big rinse tanks for storing/rinsing gear; DM's sensitive to handling gear |

Great dive ops; my boat had Jessie/Ruben as a team and they keep the diving fun/instructive while watching out for the reefs and diver safety. The boats are not fast, but are made for easy entry in the water/boarding; plenty of room to gear up. The rooms are big enough and had a/c that worked well, as well as bottled water/frig/safe/. The food is plentiful/tasty and noone should go away hungry. They are continually upgrading the grounds and facilities. Never had less than 3000 in a tank. This is a place to dive as much as you want; the shore and night diving could not be easier. The drop off dives are relaxing, whether you drop at the walls or the Prince Albert wreck. Would not bring young kids here, no real on site activities for them. For the money, the value is outstanding; just understand that you are here to dive. During my week at CoCo View, Stan Waterman was at the resort and gave several presentations covering his adventures; showed old/new videos of his explorations. He was extremely entertaining/informative and with Tim Blanton, CoCo View's resident photo expert, you got a new perspective on diving. I must admit that I have been to CoCo View several times. But I would not keep returning if the people were not as attentive/friendly as they always are. The diving is easy/fun and those of us who try and take pictures, there are still challenges to be found. |
