Comments AKR is highly overrated. Our room was 86 degrees with AC on full blast, room not very clean, small, poorly laid out and very overpriced. Looked nice from the outside. Lousy service; had to climb the stairs to office and restaurant numerous times per day, 3 times just to get the key to the room; they gave us the wrong one. Staff borderline surly, restaurant constantly gave me food that they were told over and over that I could not eat due to allergies.

Diving would have been OK but the sites were oriented so the sun did not hit the wall until afternoon so morning dives were dark. Als not much fish life. Other side of island has much better diving and cocoview service is far superior. Most of the dive staff were burnt out.

This would be an OK resort for families, but if you just want to dive don't go.
