My wife,a friend, and I did 7 dives with this operation. The first 4 were in
Kauai. The week we were there it was a little choppy. The boat is
excellent. The staff was polite and considerate of any limitations the
divers had. Rock bottom with scattered beautiful coral.Sparse fish.Lots of
turtles and more than a few octopi.
If you are going to Kauai, you have to go to Nihue. It is an undeveloped
island 2 hours to the west of Kauai. The trip over is fine, the ride back is
a little rocky. These fellas have a 41' boat.It is more than adequate for
the voyage.Nihue was wonderful. The day we went, there were only 5 divers on
the boat.We only saw one other boat.great walls, lots of fish, beautiful
fields of leather corals, pods of spinner dolphins, and a half an hour with
an 8' Monk Seal.I watched that animal for 30 minutes and I never saw a
bubble come out of its mouth.I can't imagine how long they can hold their
breath.
Seasport is very professional.polite and they seem very appreciative of the
business.
