The volcano was erupting on a different island. We tried to get permission to visit it and do a horseback ride but that fell through. The VOG (cloudiness due to volcano smoke) was a little bit of a bummer. THE Diving was great ...especially the whale sharks and the hammerheads. Also had great land visits that didn't interfere too much with diving. Crew was great. Trip was very well orchestrated and I would do it again in a flash. Enjoyed time in the cloud forest and Otavalo Market in Equador as well. |
