Comments I took a group of 20 divers from Mexico City plus an American couple and a Polish lady in the hope of repeating our fantastic 2003 Tahiti Aggressor experience. The ship is brand new (Dec 2016) and we were lucky to arrive right after a week of windy and stormy weather.
From day 1 the diving was incredible, encountering shools of sharks, barracudas, surgeonfish, unicornfish, snappers and all kinds of tropical fish in a beautiful and healthy coral reef environment. On some dives we encountered Dolphins, Manta Rays, Mobulas, Eagle Rays and 6 different shark species (Great Hammerhead, Grey Reef, Whitetip, Blacktip, Nurse Shark and Blackfin).
Most of the diving is done in Passes were tide changes mean high intensity currents (Pass Flying) that attract all kinds of predators and the action is wonderful.
The ship is very spacious and comfortable. The divemasters, led by Serge, very good and knowledgeable. We took great pictures and video.
There was massage service from 2 Philipino girls and that was a bonus.
Food was another matter with sparse breakfast. People were impatient waiting for eggs and other things and the galley was manned by just one helper who had to rush everything to be able to serve us food. Some items started to vanish (mushrooms, orange soda) and that was a little unnerving. Lunch and dinner were better but nothing out of the ordinary. We felt there was not enough food and snacks for our taste.
Other than that, this trip was a big success and I hope they can go on diving this region of the world because it has awesome diving.
