Comments This is a simple resort with 6 rooms under new ownership in the midst of world class diving. 116 steps up from dive shop to office and dining area. Then rough paths to 6 simple rooms. Only two renovated with solar energy to provide hot water and bed fans and small lite. Small Octagonal rooms with incredible views hanging over the ocean (these are better than the beach rooms). 8 louvered doors with screens and screens on floor to provide bug protection and breeze. No bugs at all when we were there, but a few noseeums. Great dive operation. Good boat captain and helper and dive master new to Namena, but experienced in the area and very careful and good at finding things. Catered to our every need. a newbie diver was also there, but he was given his own dive master and taken good care of. unusually rough seas when we were there, so safety was paramount. diving from small boat with just three of us was fine. backwards roll off side and decent ladder for ascents after doffing gear. Careful with our camera, nice place to rest between dives to avoid the 116 stairs. dive sites 5-10 minutes away and within sight. can do a day trip to White Wall. Running a land day operation from Koro Sun in SavuSavu in a huge boat, it did not come when we were there. It did transport us there and back. We usually go for slightly more upscale, but fell in love with this place. BYOB or order ahead of time.

Enforced diving restrictions dove where and when we wanted as we were only two for first few days. Then another newbie diver came and was well taken care of and separated from us. Could do what you wanted and dive master was very helpful at finding things. saw sharks, lots of nudibranchs, huge schools of small and large fish
