[None]This was our 5th trip to matangi island-it is like going home.The resort has 12 bures plus the owners 2 bd villa. A new dining area and pool will open any day. If you want nitelife this is not the place for you! If you want a relaxing vacation,in gorgous surrondings with excellent diving ,then I'd suggest you look at Matangi. They offer a 2 tank dive every morning. The boat is a 30 footer outboard(25-30 kts)sidebenches with a dive ladder. Most dive sites are from 5 -25 minutes from the resort. Interval are either on the boat or nearby beach with tea cookies etc. I've never seen another dive boat except when we went to Somo Somo . This trip costs extra and takes about 1 hour. Diving here depends on the tides-which can be extremely strong. |
