Please see our other review with Swiss Fiji Divers for our comments on
Maravu Plantation Resort.

While at Maravu we had already booked our diving through Swiss Fiji
Divers across the street. We has such a great time diving in the Somosomo
Strait that we decided to add another day of diving. Since Swiss Fiji
couldn't accommodate us we went down the beach a few hundred yards to dive
with Jewel Bubble Divers. Jewel was a new operation at the time started by
the divemasters from Aquaventure, which had recently ceased operations.
The staff at Jewel was friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgable of
the local diving conditions. We told them we were hoping to dive the Great
White Wall and they ensured we got there early enough to dive that site
before the currents became too strong. The only complaint would be their
boat. It was small and would be a pretty rough ride if the waves are
choppy as they often are in the Somosomo Strait. While the boat was small,
it did give us the luxury of being the only divers. Perhaps as Jewel
continues their operations they might upgrade the boat.
