Overall Rating

Third time in Bonaire, 2d at Divi Resort. Overall resort operation was
good, rooms clean and our needs attended to. Breakfast selection was very
good as well as the food . Selection of food for dinner  at their
restaurant was poor and very overpriced. We ate at other resorts except for
the buffet night which was good. At two other resorts (Cpt. Don's and
Buddy) the mosquitos ate us alive at dinner this year. 

Divi dive shop is fully capable. However, I still don't understand the
"attitude" of the women who is runs it as to why she cannot be
more helpful. Better than previous year but it seems that "she is
doing you a favor" by answering your questions. Other guests had the
same comment so I guess it was not just us. That was not the case with the
manager or divemasters who were all excellent.

Rented vehicle at Budget car rental - as was the case the previous year the
wait was over 1 hour to get the car with 7 people in line in front of us.
This clearly is not the USA pick up your car and go. All were very
frustrated as to the process. 

However, overall the resort, dive shop and diving was very good all things
considered. If you are looking for an economical trip consider all shore
diving as you can set your own schedule and there are numerous dive
locations with easy access and you dive your own profiles.
