Comments Bonaire offers excellent opportunities for both shore and boat diving. The year round weather (air and water) is warm, it's below the hurricane belt (little risk of cancelled vacation plans) and compared to many locations in the Caribbean you get great value for the $. The Deep Blue View is a 5 room B&B with attached dive operation. They have their own air filling station (and Nitrox), 36' Newton Dive Boat, rental gear if needed and all dive facilities and equipment are very well maintained. The B&B is clean and comfortable and a great place to relax at days end. Owner operators Menno and Esther are always available to provide advice on the best dive sites, dive conditions, places to eat... The resort is well run and relaxed and with full tanks always available you can dive anytime. Don't pass on the boat dives. Although shore diving in Bonaire is great, the locations accessible only by boat are even better. Delta and Continental provide connections to Bonaire, but periodically check your reservation as they often shift flight times (and sometimes days). If you enjoy healthy reefs, coral, hundreds of small fish, critters, turtles and the occasional larger fish or ray, Bonaire is a place worth diving again and again.
