Comments	[None] Just back from our 6th trip to Bonaire and the 3rd stay at Buddies. It has been a while and some things have changed. They still have the excellent drive through tank pick up for shore diving but the rooms (at least the ones we used/originally Lions studio) are slowly decaying (eg. appliances, exposed wiring, broken shower doors)and while some of the rental cars are new some would best be sold for scrap. The worst change is that all boat dives are now guided regardless of your experience level. I expressed my dissatisfaction on this issue with the boat operations manager and was told that liability and his job were more important. Captain Don's Habitat is however right next door and still has a sign that states "Home of diver freedom". While guided boat diving isn't a bad idea for low time divers those experienced may want to give Don some boat and/or hotel business.
