Dive Conditions

Follow dive leader; follow own profile if using computer; 1 hour limit on
dives  

boats used a 5 gallon bucket to store camera in - with freshwater when the
crew remembered to fill it.  The bucket was also used as a seat during the
boat ride.  Not a lot of accomdations for photographers  

Overall Rating

Beatiful resort - out of the way.  Dives are 1/2 boat ride away - no shore
diving.  don't come here expecting to party - quiet resort and even quieter
small town.  Dive crew was very professional - accomdating all levels of
divers.  Dives were all drift dives.  Surface intervals on nearby island
with snacks.  Longer excursions to barrier reefs available and worth the
cost and time.  Also numerous shore execursions available from nature trips
to mayan ruins - food was excellent and the meal plan was worth.  Be
prepared for no-see-um!  The treehouses are cool!
