Comments The dive guides were great -- we had mostly Martin and Tirrell -- but comments from all guests on board were favorable for all guides. Watched one of the dive masters be extremely patient with a "hesitant" open water certification diver on 2 of her first dives. Boats were in good condition and appeared to be well maintained. It was lovely to be able to arrive at the boat in the morning and have all gear transported to the boat by staff, and then to hop off the boat and know that it would be rinsed and hung overnight for us. Although we were allowed to dive our own profile, felt safety first was a concern of the crew. We had some windy weather during our stay, and getting on board was trickly.. however, the crew managed to board us all quickly, efficiently, and safely with help from them for us to get up the ladder and safely to our seat. The stop at the small island between dives, complete with cookies, juice and fruit was a nice touch.
Really would recommend Hamanasi to anyone diving in that area, and would certainly like to return sometime and dive with them again.

UW Photo Comments Although there was a nice bucket of fresh water exclusively for underwater cameras, there was no real space to safely keep cameras on a table to/between/from dives. The crew was very helpful about handing cameras to divers in the water, and putting the cameras in the separate rinse bucket.
