Hamanasi is not cheap but is well worth the price. The resort and the
service were outstanding. In their 8 day/7 night package deal is a
combination of 5 dives/inland adventures. The dives are to the local reef
which is about an hour away. They are very nice. The inland adventures are
also about an hour drive. If you want to do anything special it is extra -
such as going to the Blue Hole (that was great!), going to the Turnafe
Island reefs, to Glovers Reef, or to Gladden Spit to try to find the whale
sharks (we didn't see any); these are all 2 1/2hr+ boat rides depending on
conditions. There are also several inland adventures that are several
hours away and are extra. I took the one over to Guatemala to see the
Takal Mayan ruins. Incredible! Several fellow divers we met had stayed at
other Belize resorts, such as in Ambergis Caye and Placentia. They thought
that Hamanasi was better. Enjoy!
