Comments We had a six hour wait from the time we got to Belize City till we left for Lighthouse Reef area and Friday PM was a waste. We spent all day Saturday waiting to go to the airport.
The rest of the cruise was fun. The crew was very attentive. They wanted us to have a great diving experience. The food was good and there was a fair amount of variety. Lots of soda and beer and wine at dinner. Always a filled cookie jar and hot cocoa at the end of the second afternoon diive and the night dives. The blue hole was a very fast dive. The reefs were in pretty nice shape. I saw a lot of reef fish. You can do up to 5 dives a day. Those using nitrox usually did. I was diving on air so 4 was my limit. I was tired.
We never got into Belize City. The crew warned us away. There was a hotel at the end of the pier which had a bar and a pool.
