The weather was cloudy and waves were huge our first three days, but after
that the weather improved and the seas calmed. If you go to Belize plan to
encounter 3 to 5 foot seas. I've been there twice and both times there
were rough seas. Most operators will require you to take your gear off in
the water to get in the boat easier. Make sure you are comfortable with
that exercise before you go.

The highlight of the trip was a day trip to The Blue Hole and Half Moon
Caye. This was our first real deep dive and we were a little intimidated.
The dive was super. We dove to 135' and none of us got narc'd. There were
huge reef sharks swimming with us. I've heard a lot of good and bad about
the Blue Hole. All I can say is, if you go to Belize, dive the Blue Hole.
It is an experience of a lifetime.

The other two dives at Half Moon Caye were super fun. I think we exceeded
all PADI tables that day, but the computer let us keep diving. Just don't
over indulge the night before.

The price for these all day trips sounds high, but you definitely get your
money's worth. A nice lunch is included as well as after dive drinks. I
won't go into detail aboug that!!!

Try Ambergris Caye and The Blue Hole. You will love it.
