Comments A nicely organised set-up...
First port of call is the store (we met there around 7.30am), where the staff efficiently got us all kitted up with any gear we needed, and then got most of this gear loaded into the (RIB) boat.

We were then provided with a thorough briefing at the store, prior to us hopping in a van and being transported down to the beach (a 2min ride away).

RIB was launched from the beach (a lot of fun!) then it took about an hour to motor to the Yongala Dive Site. No time wasted getting in to the water, with incredible diving under the surface (it definitely is a very impressive wreck).

We were served snacks (cheese & crackers, fruit cake and biscuits) in our surface interval, as well as hot drinks and water. Then it was in for the second dive, and no time wasted getting back to the store - we arrived back at around 3pm.

We all helped clean our gear while the guys in the kitchen cooked up a late lunch of hamburgers (nice patties, help yourself to the salads/condiments you want) - very tasty finish to the day!

I would happily dive with these guys again

UW Photo Comments Being a RIB (boat) - there wasn't a lot of room for camera gear, however staff were very sensitive regarding the need to look after underwater camera equipment, and nothing was too much trouble
