Comments The dive operation is run by Azura, which is a very upscale resort mostly attended by European, South African and US vacationers not interested in diving. The resort is simply the best we've ever been to and we've been to a lot of upscale ones.

The PADI 5-star dive operation is owned and operated by the resort. SCUBA PRO Equipment is more than adequate but somewhat limited (no XL, XXL BCs) and the boats more than adequate but suited for 6 divers or less. The dive masters are superb. The boat staff is very attentive, but not divers.

Azura is located in part of a marine park and all diving is done along two-mile reef. Marine life is incredibly dense and varied. Viz in June (their winter) was only 40'-50'. We and our two marine scientist couple friends were the only ones of the boat - 4 people in all. We were quickly marked as experienced and reasonable divers and allowed to make lengthy computer dives.
