A January 2009 study in Aviation, Space and
Environmental Medicine found that regular divers
who had undergone 90 days of physical training
evidenced significant reductions in post-dive bubble
scores. Interestingly, these scores increased when
measured three months after the training ceased. At
the least, this reinforces the notion that the physicallyfit
diver may be at reduced risk for DCS as compared
to the out-of-shape diver....
