1999 Chapbook
  Venezuela

Antares III, November 1997, Dave Merrill, Pomona, CA. Well-run operation. Dominique and crew make you feel welcome. Only 2 divers on the boat, so we each had our own stateroom with ensuite bath. Reefs in good condition, no damage anywhere. Gorgeous soft walls, lots of reef fishes. Dived four times during the day and once per night. Water temperature 78-80 degrees, and visibility 150' to 50, around the big island. Sea turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks and many grouper. Night dives inside lagoon with tarpon you could touch. Side trip to Arekuna Camp and rain forest, Angel Falls should not be missed.(Ph: 011-58-95-632211, Fax: 011-58-95-617746
