1999 Chapbook
  Honduras

Wind Dancer, November 1997, Jim Voigt, Mt Zion, IL. I went for the corals and small stuff and I was not disappointed. Sharks, eagle rays and dolphins were a bonus. Vis: 30-60 ft. Water: 82-86 degrees. Dive restriction: 130 ft. Boat and crew first rate. Weather was one half nice and one half rainy and overcast. TACA did not get us to Roatan the first day, had to spend the night in hotel in La Ceiba. Almost half the passengers got stomach cramps and diarrhea. Pleasant trip, well worth the money (20% discount). P.S. Toon town was awesome. (Ph: 800-932-6237 (US/Can) or 305-699-9391, Fax: 305-699-9475, e-mail: dancer@winnet.net)

Wind Dancer, December 1997, Kevin Frazer, LeClaire , IA. I could spend a year at Toon Town and Pelican Point in Cayos Cochinos (Hog Islands). Vis: 20-100 ft. Water: 80-84 degrees. Dive restriction: 130'. Skip the last evening meal provided at Anthony's Key: go to new restaurant on The Iguana run by recent Spanish emigree-outstanding.

Wind Dancer, Peter Hughes, June 1998, Larry Braswell, Inman, SC. Great week of diving. Getting there was a mess. Honduras Air Tours went belly up three weeks before departure. Getting a good flight schedule that late was impossible. We were two hours late leaving Charlotte, NC, missing our connections. Got to Roatan but our bags did not. Vis: 50-100 ft. Water: 84-85. Restriction enforced was 100 ft. and stay out of deco. Food delicious. Diving with the dolphins at Anthony's Key was the highlight. Thank you Undercurrent for providing a way for divers to really know what to expect when we plan a trip. We have followed your advice every time and it is always what you and your readers have reported.
