St. John is a beautiful island but it is not a destination for someone who
is going there to just dive. I was going there to get married so it was a
bonus that there was some diving. Chris Sawyer diving had a very nice
staff. The boat was clean and on time. They were clearly accustomed to new
divers. That's not a bad thing just makes it a little dull for more
experienced divers. They gave very thorough dive briefings. The rental gear
looked like it was in very good condition. The owner, Chris Sawyer, was on
the boat the day we did a day trip to Salt Island, BVI to dive a wreck. The
rest of the dives were pretty dull. The have big rock formations versus
coral.
