Comments One of the best run dive boat operations--bar none. Capt Mike Ferguson and his crew are extremely dedicated to safety and customer service. We made 5 dives including one night dive off the brand new, all aluminum, custom built, 41' Mark V. This boat is fast and stable with no detectable vibrations despite its all aluminum construction. Even when running all out, the boat is exceptionally quiet and well handling. A jewel of boat with air & nitrox capable compressors on board, steady and exceptionally well designed boarding ladders, heated cabin with wonderful tables and seating with full galley. Mike's crew knew their stuff and we saw many huge 4-ft ling cod, cabezon and other cold water species on our dives. Underwater topography within the Puget Sound dive sites was well worth the trip. Customer service way beyond any expectations and Mike and his folks are just damn good guys...they kind of people you want as your best friends. They took great pains to explain our dive spots in detail and what could be viewed and where to look for it. If you want to dive the Seattle/Tacoma Puget Sound Area, Porthole Dive Charters is the way to go! They depart from the Seattle, WA Harbor and in the summer also from Neah Bay, WA
