This is the time of year for lemon sharks and Turtles. The tourists and snow birds have mostly departed, and the crazy lobster hunters are still at home. The Hyperbaric chamber at St Mary's Hospital (which closed briefly) is now available for emergencies, and the spear fishing is very good. They have a great boat, captain, and divemasters, and will accomodate all levels of expertise. The current is 2-4 knots, and dives drift over schools of lemon sharks, nice reefs with nurse sharks and turtles galore. |
