Comments We dove a lot with them in the late 90s, but hadn't again up til now. In those days, Jim and Anna were always there, and they had a small 6-pack, among other boats, that went on a 3 tank lunch dive from Singer Island. Things have changed a lot in the last 10 years, but not the excellent staffing and service. Racquel warmly welcomed us in the office, and Laz is an outstanding divemaster with a great knowledge and love of the sea, You can tell this is more than just a job for him. The diving here is drift diving- I recommend Nitrox for this- with most dives in the 50'-80' range. The boat takes about 20 divers, and it's a short drive to most sights as the gulf stream is close here. The life is abundant- large angels of all types, spade fish, large green morays, parrots, rays, sharks, and of course , turtles. the boat usually splits into 2 groups, and a dive master goes with each group and guides the group with a float ball. the current can be ripping, or slow. on this day it was moving pretty good, and storms had lessened the vis somewhat. A "frequent flier" spear fisherman was dropped on a seperate site. Upon surfacing, the boat arrived promptly to pick us up. A roll call is meticulously taken before and after the dives. In between dives, there are sodas, chips, snacks, and fresh cut pineapple served to the divers, along with lively conversation from the crew. The crew is as warm and friendly as we remembered them 10 years before- though the names and faces have changed. I would highly recommend this operation on the east coast of Fla.
