Comments Did 8 dives in 2 days. The morning dives were shallow as snorkelers made the big boat trip. A shovel was required to get past thirty feet. Afternoon dive #1 was a deep wreck each day. Duane and Spiegel Grove. Both nice wreck dives. Current on SG. Afternoon dive #2 was back to shallows (Mollasses & French Reefs) which got boring quickly. Nice boats. Blew an outboard on big boat night before we arrived. Team Amoray scrambled, wrote a check for a new one and was quickly back in full operation. Handed us off for 2 morning dives during repairs which was not too much of a hassle. Private dives for 3 for that afternoon. Everybody at Amoray is super nice. The Captains were great. The shallow dives had nurse sharks and eagle rays every dive. Saw a brain coral 6' in diameter and a grouper as big as my Beetle! Nice resort which was front and center for 4th of July fireworks. Resort only has a Coke machine. Key Largo has tons of restaurants and English is widely spoken. Again, everybody at Amoray is super nice.

UW Photo Comments The visibility made photos tough. Rare macro subjects. Nice wrecks for pix but vis was fair, at best. Small camera tank on big boat. No camera table. We did not use shore rinse tanks as our room was closer to boat so it was hose & sink. Lots of divers with GoPros.
