My husband and I enjoyed each dive and the ENTIRE dive experience while
staying in Provodentiales. Caicos Adventures is an excellent dive
operation, run and owned by "Fifi" Kunz, visit website at: [ link] Dove French Cay and West Caicos. Boat ride about
45 minutes to the sites. Two tank dives and a substantial sandwich between
dives. If staying in Grace Bay or surrounding areas, will pick up divers in
bus. P/u about 8 and back around 2ish. Lovely way to spend the day! Nitrox

The dive boat is a 54" catamaran built for divers. My favorite spot on
the boat was in the very front, with my legs dangeling over the water
watching the shimmering turquoise ocean speed by and seeing the flying fish
in front of us. The crew, Andy, Oliver, Richard, and others took excellent
care of everyone, from setting up the gear to leading the group dives to
being fun to be with. We were planning on diving only 4 days, but quickly
added the 5th day, because of the excellent diving and boat experiences!
Coral is healthy, mostly wall dives, saw reef and nurse sharks on about 80%
of the dives. Magical moments spent with a large turtle that swam along
with our group! All the "usual suspects" in Caribbean sea life,
which was diverse and healthy. Saw numbers of schooling fish. Areas
protected from fishing. Ours was usually the only dive boat in the area. We
will be back to dive with Fifi!

The dive boat rents a full line of gear. If yours breaks, you can replace
it and not lose dive time! Several on our boat had malfuncting gear, but
replaced it and were able to dive.

Eating: Both Aqua and Magnolia were excellent dining and romantic;
Hemingway's was tastless, but great view; Tiki Hut was fun and filling and
pretty cheap.
