Comments The bad part about diving at St Vincent is getting there. Liat is the only plane in and they aren't dependable in flight schedules or in luggage arrival. They also have a 40 lb weight restriction for one suit case and a 15 lb restriction on one carry on. Best to leave your gear at home and use the equipment provided by Dive St Vincent. It is included in your package. I spent a month diving there as was able to dive with Ned Deloach and Paul Humann. Their "Reef" group was able to ID 262 different species of fish in one week. Bill Tewes, owner/operator of Dive St Vincent is a walking encyclopedia about local fish and especially critters. Every dive is a learning experience and rarely can you walk away and say that you didn't see something new. St Vincent is a Macro lens paradise. The down side is if you are looking for big fish, there aren't any. The reefs are healthy but that isn't what draws in the big fish. Dive St Vincent, the "Critter Capital of the Caribbean" is a must see.
