Comments	The diving is easy. The sites are 15 minutes away by boat at most. The staff is knowledgeable and tries to accommodate guest requests. There is a lot of healthy coral and many fish. Turtles are seen often. The part to know is that Statia is "old Caribbean". There are not a lot of places to eat and no place you will recognize. The amenities can be sparse. Non-divers may get bored. The beaches are rocky and not good for sunbathing. If you like "Old Caribbean", this is a great place. If you are looking for a Marriot, you might want to look elsewhere. We have gone many times and have never been disappointed.
