Comments	On the whole, it was a good experience linked to a stay in a very nice hotel blessed with a lot of sun. People at Extradivers operator were helpful and nice even if one of their boat was not available and, as always, some monitors were better than others. The boat accommodated around 12 divers and the dive sites were on average 30 minutes from the marina with two-dives trip on the morning or one- dive trip in the afternoon. Of course, it is diving in the Sea of Oman where the visibility is not always very good. During our stay in September 2013, the plankton was very dense till 5 meters below the surface, limiting the visibility and the light, bringing quite a lot of fishes around, but no pelagic. I have seen nice hard coral, some critters, two sea horses, quite a few turtles on the beach and in the water. Muscat/Oman is of course not the Red Sea, the Maldives or Palau, but diving there is worth the trip, at least for divers coming from Europe or the Gulf.
