Comments Second trip to Utila Lodge. The Lodge is built over the ocean, so it's cooler. Whe had to use our A/C only once during May. Captain Wille found Whale Sharks on two days and we took some great photos! The Lodge and the dive operation are great! The owners, Kisty and Jim have renovated and improved the Lodge. Everyone that works at the Lodge is personable and will make every effort to accommodate your needs. This is an all-inclusive lodge and 17 dives come with the package. Nitrox is available for $100 extra/week. Lots of healthy soft corals. Examples of life: file fsh; porcupine; gray angels; tang; baraccuda; shark; rays; flounder; parrot; octopus; sea cucumbers; garden eels; moray eels; lettuce leaf slug; queen angels; flamingo tounges; pipe horse; frogfish; dog snappers; flat worms; scorpion fish; tarpon. Some dives are in current; some surge; some dives have little current or surge. We have already booked a third trip for May 2005!
