Comments This is our 5th trip with Kohala Divers. Boat Captain Steve Creamer was very knowledgeable, safety conscious, and very helpful in assisting my wife with doffing tank in water prior to exit to avoid climbing up ladder with tank on a bad back. Divemasters Kelli, Chris & Robin very helpful in pointing out nudibranchs, frogfish, macro photo subjects for photos. Beginners were put with 1 divemaster, advanced with another. Bonus is trolling/fishing during surface interval. As we had prior experience in diving various sites, we were given option of setting our own profiles and diving seperate from the dive groups (which were always very small).

Dive sites were plentiful and only repeated during same week if weather conditions were unfavorable. On one day, rain night before had dropped vis to less then 30 feet on the Northern dive sites, Capt. Steve drove the boat South down the Kohala Coast 45 minutes to obtain 75+ plus vis. Not too many dive operations give the Captain that kind of freedom, with the price of gas these days.
