Ed Robinson has a good rinse tank onboard his boats and his crew is very attentive to divers and their cameras, and the crew handle the cameras well. |

This was my second trip with Ed Robinson and it turned out as great as the first trip. There were numerous turtle encounters, eels, and frogfish most every day. It was also very enjoyable to listen to the whale songs on the first few days of diving. Molokini Crater was dived a lot as per divers' requests and it never got boring whether inside the crater, on the outer rim, or on the backside of Molokini. We also had a number of manta encounters. Nudibranchs were abundant as were the beautiful butterflyfish, angelfish, squirrelfish, hunting jacks, bannerfish, moorish idols, sergeant majors, and the array of surgeonfish found in the Hawaiian Islands. Ed's crew was fabulous at finding the more rare critters like the flame angelfish, harlequin shrimp, decoy scorpionfish, spanish dancer, and a juvenile milky scorpionfish. Ed has a new type of diving he calls his "Adventure X" trip where more experienced divers are allowed to totally dive their own profiles whether with a buddy or solo. Some of these dives can also be at deeper sites where many operators don't visit. When I had a regulator malfunction, Ed's crew had an extra one onboard and mine was switched out between dives so that I'd not lose any dives. His crews are very knowledgeable about the dive sites as well as the marine life. They are also very reef conscious. I"ll surely return to dive with Ed Robinson again. |
