Exceptional dive operation. Boats never felt crowded and
entrance/exits were handled very smoothly. Great service onboard the
boats, basically all you were responsible for was to fall into the water -
with all of the equipment being taken care of for you. Food between dives
along with water, juice and soda. Most trips had 2 DM's, 1 deck support
and boat captain to assist 8 - 12 divers. DM's were all uniformly highly
experienced and helpful. They possessed exceptional knowledge of all dive
sites and could find/identify all the local wildlife. Easily the best dive
operation that I have worked with - ever. I highly recommend.
They operate out of the Kihei boat ramp and dive along the Maui
coastline and Molokini crater. They will load and rig all of your
equipment in the parking lot - put the boat in the water and have you board
immediately afterwards. Good safety brief prior to leaving dock with a lot
of flexibility to observe the whales along the way to the dive sites. They
make great accommodations regarding the dive site selections depending upon
the water conditions. Onsite they will cover the necessary details of the
site in question followed by a specific brief of wildlife of the location.
The DM's are experts at finding all manner of creatures onsite - very
helpful for photography. Returning to the boat is a wonderful experience
as they pretty much handle the details of tank swaps and gear movement. -
Rinse and repeat for follow on diving. They run 3 tank dives twice a week
as well as one night dive per week. The consistency of service is
remarkable and speaks to a very strong operating culture. Essentially,
they are the bar that I measure all other dive operators by.
