Comments	We have over 500 dives in Cozumel. One might ask why we return. Because of the strong currents the reefs are very healthy. The hard coral has returned after Wilma and the soft coral is more than prolific. It can be easy diving or quite challenging with the currents. This time they were very strong and variable all week. Admittedly, I had my first shin splints diving. Unbelievable we saw 2 black tip reef sharks. We'd never seen them in Cozumel before. Our guide was a very enthusiastic Italian, Giacomo. I would give anything for his young eyes. He found a juvenile drum fish the size of a gnat and I tried to photograph it in the current with a 60mm lens for over 10 minutes. He also found a family of 4 nudibranchs that I'd never seen there. There were so many turtles, but I didn't see my loggerhead. Of course, the nurse sharks are in many places. The men were busy trying to find lionfish and managed to spear a few. The large snappers are more than eager to eat them. Happily many grouper roam for food. Again, I commend Scuba Du for their stability, care and personal attention. Victor, is remarkable. He cleans the gear to perfection after each day's diving. I am not talking about a dunk, it's scrubbed. It is such a pleasure to have such a clean, dry wet suit each morning. Dive Masters come and go, but Jorge de la Fuente, the owner, has always been there for us. They WILL make your dive experience pleasurable.

Enforced diving restrictions	We have been diving with Scuba Du since its inception so there are no enforcements. They will give excellent dive briefings, check currents, make sure divers follow the dive master, ecological briefings, depths according to experience etc. There is no restriction on bottom time is within the limit

UW Photo Comments	We hire a private boat and the rides are short. The captain will follow instructions given and executes great care with the cameras. We have a NIKON D7000 and a NIKON 300S both in Aquatica Housings. Our guide was excellent about showing both small and large fish to accommodate. There is no rush if the trip is planned around photography. I highly recommend Scuba Du because of their sensitivity to these issues.
