We have been staying at the Scuba Club Cozumel almost since its inception
under the Name of Galapagos Hotel. Our younger daughter was married there

thanks so much for this information on the whale sharks...I wondered where
you saw them when I read the overall review.

The Whale sharks we were with, were 45 minutes from a Marina ,itself 45
minutes South of Playa del Carmen. They hang out between this area and
Holbox. The guide takes you to where they happen to be that day.
Not sure this answers your question.

Thanks ... I got that you took the ferry from Playa and then were met and
driven to the marina and then were able to snorkel with them....still great
though! WE have been diving with the Scuba Club for twenty years too.
Thanks again! Aurora
