Comments Careyitos offers an exceptional service among Cozumel dive operators. These guys are the real deal and have been around for 30+ years. All of the crew are an older crowd (ie. 35+ years at least) and they can outdive anybody who cares to step up to the challenge. Meaning that you can get up to 80 + minutes out of an aluminum 80 that is if you can keep up. However, there is no problem if you are not a marathoner but if you are then expect a hyperextended bottom time if you can hang.

Additionally, this is one of the only remaining services that offers lunch for the day trip and a damn good one at that. If you remember the days of old in Cozumel, the lunches were a crapshoot at best but not in this case. You can expect good quality for the food as it is prepared fresh daily. Typical menu consists of fresh bread rolls, turkey, string cheese, homemade guacamole (yummy!), fresh made salsa fresca (yummy too!), tasty corn chips, fresh fruits, cookies, etc.

The price has a small premium but for all that the service offers, the value is delivered. Keep in mind that the owner Ricardo does not compete with the high volume dive services on Cozumel. He caters primarily to experienced people who are looking to avoid the quicky, turn the crank companies. However, if you are a rookie and want to learn how to improve your game then these guys will do an excellent job to ensure your money is well spent.

One final note, the boat is really kept in "ship shape" as Cozumel operators go. It even has a head that is very clean and well maintained for a boat, no kidding! The ladies seem to really appreciate this aspect of the daily experience.

I have dove with them many rimes, most recently in Jan. and all dives were 60 min.+. I agree with all that was said above. My favorite Dive Master works on this boat and is always eager to help improve your diving and also in identifying fish, coral, etc. you won't be sorry if you dive with them.
