[Unspecified] We were turned on to Anita Divers by Tony & Ricardo of Careyitos/Advanced Divers. We were allowed to dive our own profile/computer, and along with DM, stretched each dive out to 70+ minutes. |

I use a digital Canon uw & have no comments as to good/bad accommodations on Anita. They have no specific spaces/tanks/tables etc for cameras, but if you let them know you need something special, they will do whatever it takes to make you happy. |

We booked this trip as a Friday thru Friday flight/resort package through Worryfree & were quite pleased with Casa del Mar, which is one of about 10 choices of places to stay. We arranged our dive days after we arrived. Normally we go with Advanced Divers/Careyitos, but since this was an impromptu trip, we were only able to book three days with them. They introduced us to Anita Divers, who also depart from the Caleta around 9:AM. We were impressed with everything about this dive operation. The boat is spacious, has a head, big sun deck, partially covered main deck, is clean & well maintained, and best of all, a very friendly, helpful, accommodating crew. We got to choose the sites, dive our profile and return to a most wonderful lunch which included guacamole & pico de gallo, lots of fresh fruits, chips, tortillas, sandwiches, water/juice/soda. We saw more turtles this trip than ever before. And also a few eagle rays where we didn't expect to see them. The currents were mild & temps perfect. Between the 3 of us, we wore as little as half ml skin up to 3 ml shortie. We will definitely book with Anita again. As for beginner divers, yes, we would also recommend Anita. They are safety conscience and eager to share their knowlege/experience with all divers. We try to learn more, every time, everywhere we go. I think that is why we always return to Cozumel. You just can't find a better realm of knowlegable, caring, adventurous, safety minded, congenial individuals anywhere else! |
