Comments We had a wonderful time at Southern Cross Club. The staff was wonderful, as always (this was our third trip). Diving was top notch. We had some choppy water and some days that were smooth as glass - the winds were being fickle and we had some wind some days. In general, we got to see some dive sites we'd never seen before, and everything was perfect. We were diving with a smaller group - 6-8 people each day - which made for nice, relaxing dives. Spent time with Grouper, a school of squid, a couple nurse sharks, and lots of fish.

We did not see Lionfish while we were there, but the divemasters were constantly on the look out and reminded us each dive to keep our eyes open for Lionfish.

Accomodations and food were wonderful. We visited the resort over the fourth of July holiday and had the pleasure of seeing a fantastic fireworks display. We were also married during this trip, and I would highly recommend the resort if you are thinking of doing a small, low key wedding.

No complaints from us! We had a wonderful trip.

UW Photo Comments Divemaster Mike was very helpful in giving pointers, pointing out subjects, and working with photographers. He even offered to take a look at photos in the evenings and give feedback. Overall, we had better photos because of his help. The boat did have a tank, but the tank was not large enough for larger cameras, and our large camera had to sit elsewhere.
